Kirby City, Bexar County, Texas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 8673 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 8606, making it the 232nd most populous in Texas. The city encompasses an area of 1.9 sq mi (4.92 kmē ), of which, 1.87 square miles (4.84 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, making it the 894th largest by size in Texas.
