Kingston City is a city located in the Roane County, Tennessee, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 5264 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 5607, making it the 94th most populous in Tennessee. Its area is just over 7.31 sq mi (18.93 square kilometre), of which, 6.55 square miles (16.96 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.76 square miles (1.97 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Tennessee's 121st largest by total area. It is ranks 19 in the size of its inland waterways in Tennessee.

The population density was 803.7 people per square mile (310.31/kmē), it is the 113th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
