Kingston City is a city located in Ulster County, New York, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of the city was 23456 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 22441, making it the 64th most populous in New York. It is spread over 8.65 miē (22.4 kmē), of which, 7.35 square miles (19.04 kmē ) of it is land and 1.3 square miles (3.37 kmē) of it is water, making it the 78th largest by size in New York.
