Kingman City is a city located in the Kingman County, Kansas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 3387. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 2996, It is the 79th largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 3.49 mi˛ (9.04 square kilometre), of which, 3.47 square miles (8.99 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 59th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.

The population density was 975.8 people per square mile (376.76/km˛), making it the 324th most densely populated city in Kansas.
