Kingfisher City is a city located in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 4380 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 4343, making it Oklahoma's 76th largest. The city has a total area of 4.14 miē (10.72 kmē), making it Oklahoma's 208th largest by total area.

The population density was 1058.9 people per square mile (408.84/kmē), it is 157th most densely populated city in Oklahoma. There were 1935 housing units at an average density of 467.4 per square mile (180.46/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.45 persons, and the average family size was 3.03 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 26.2% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 20.1% from 45 to 64, and 19.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 88.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 83.7 males. The racial makeup of the city was 3725 White, 86 Black or African American, 250 American Indian, 20 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 123 from two or more races and 175 Ohter races.
