King And Queen County is a county in the United States of Virginia. The population of county in 2000 stood at 6630 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 6830 in July 2008, giving it the 11th smallest population among Virginia's county. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 326.33 square miles (845.19 kmē), of which, 316.26 square miles (819.11 kmē) of it is land and 10.06 square miles (26.06 kmē) of it is water, making it Virginia's 66th largest county by total area.

In the county Population was distributed with 22.7% under the age of 18, 7% from 18 to 24, 26.8% from 25 to 44, 27% from 45 to 64, and 16.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.5 males. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 6830, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 65.94% White, 30.82% Black or African American, 1.41% American Indian, 0.28% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 1.54% from two or more races.
