Kidder County is a county located in North Dakota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The county has a population of 2753 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 2290, making it North Dakota's 13th smallest county. The county comprises an area of 1433.21 mi˛ (3712 sq km), of which, 1350.79 square miles (3498.53 sq km) of it is land and 82.42 square miles (213.47 sq km) of it is water, making it the 20th largest by size in North Dakota. It is ranks fifth in the size of its inland waterways in North Dakota.
