Kewaunee City is a one of the Kewaunee County, Wisconsin, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 2806 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2753, making it the 189th most populous in Wisconsin. The city extends throughout a territory of 4.22 square miles (10.93 square kilometre ), of which, 3.47 square miles (8.99 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.74 square miles (1.92 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 154th largest by total area among Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2806 people in the city, organized into 76 households, and 48 families living in the city. The population density was 807.7 people per square mile (311.85/kmē), making it the 310th most densely populated city in Wisconsin. There were 1237 housing units at an average density of 356.5 per square mile (137.65/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.34 persons, and the average family size was 2.97 persons.
