Kenton County, Kentucky is a county located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Kenton County is home to 151464 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 157629, It is Kentucky's third most populous county. The county extends throughout a territory of 164.38 square miles (425.74 kmē ), of which, 161.97 square miles (419.5 kmē) of it is land and 2.42 square miles (6.27 kmē) of it is water, makes it the seventh smallest by total area in Kentucky.
