Keene City is a city located in the Cheshire County, New Hampshire, United States. The city has a population of 22563 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 22407, It is New Hampshire's seventh largest by population . It is spread over 37.56 sq mi (97.28 kmē), of which, 37.31 square miles (96.63 kmē ) of it is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 kmē) of it is water, it is the sixth largest by area in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. It is ranks 18 in the size of its inland waterways in New Hampshire.
