Katy City is one of the city of Harris, Fort Bend and Waller counties, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 11775 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 13913, It is the 183rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Texas. It is spread over 10.67 square miles (27.64 square kilometre), it is the 214th largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
