Kansas City City is a city in the Jackson, Clay, Platte and Cass counties, Missouri, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 441545 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 451572, It is the largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 318.02 sq mi (823.67 square kilometre), of which, 313.54 square miles (812.06 square kilometre) of it is land and 4.47 square miles (11.58 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the largest by total area among Missouri. It is ranks second in the size of its inland waterways in Missouri.
