Kanab City is a city located in the Kane County, Utah, United States. It is home to over 3564 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 3782, It is the 90th largest by population in the U.S. state of Utah. The city spans an area of 14.06 miē (36.42 kmē), of which, 14.02 square miles (36.31 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, making it the 46th largest by size in Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3564 people in the city, organized into 1335 households, and 979 families living in the city.
