Kalamazoo City is a one of the Kalamazoo County, Michigan, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 77145 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 72179 in July 2008, making it Michigan's 15th largest. The city spans an area of 25.18 square miles (65.22 kmē), of which, 24.68 square miles (63.92 kmē) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.29 kmē) of it is water, it is the 26th largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.
