Juniata County, Pennsylvania is a county located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The county has a population of 22821 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 23146, It is the seventh smallest county by population in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The county has a total area of 393.57 square miles (1019.34 kmē), of which, 391.59 square miles (1014.21 kmē) of it is land and 1.98 square miles (5.13 kmē) of it is water, it is the 11th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
