Juneau County is a county located in the United States of Wisconsin. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 24316 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 26633, It is the 46th largest in terms of population. The county comprises an area of 804.13 sq mi (2082.69 sq km), of which, 767.61 square miles (1988.1 sq km) of it is land and 36.53 square miles (94.61 sq km) of it is water, it is the 40th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

For every 100 females there were 100.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.4 males. The July 2008 population estimate is 26633, The racial makeup of the county was 94.43% White, 2.52% Black or African American, 1.63% American Indian, 0.48% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, and 0.92% from two or more races.
