Josephine City, Collin and Hunt counties, Texas is a city located in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 594. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 944, making it the 414th least populous in Texas. It covers total area of 1.63 sq mi (4.22 square kilometre), it is the 993rd largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 594 residents, 205 households, and 166 families in the city. The population density was 364.5 people per square mile (140.73/kmē), making it the 383rd least densely populated city in Texas.
