Jordan City is a one of the Scott County, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 3833 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 5445, It is the 154th largest in terms of population. It is spread over 2.64 sq mi (6.84 sq km), of which, 2.61 square miles (6.76 sq km ) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 257th largest by total area in Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3833 people in the city, organized into 1349 households, and 981 families residing in the city. The population density was 1466.5 people per square mile (566.22/kmē), it is Minnesota's 151st most densely populated city.
