Johnston Town is a town located in Edgefield County, South Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2336 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 2336, giving it the 156th largest population among South Carolina. The town has a total area of 2.58 square miles (6.68 square kilometre), of which, 2.51 square miles (6.5 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, making it South Carolina's 214th largest by total area.
