Johnson County is one of the 92 county of Indiana, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 115209 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 139158, It is Indiana's tenth most populous county. It covers total area of 321.56 miē (832.84 kmē), of which, 320.19 square miles (829.29 kmē) of it is land and 1.36 square miles (3.52 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 17th smallest by total area in Indiana.

In July 2008, its estimated population was 139158, The racial makeup of the county was 133261 White, 2325 Black or African American, 249 American Indian, 2216 Asian, 30 Native Hawaiian, and 1077 from two or more races.
