Jewell County is a county located in the United States of Kansas. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Jewell County is home to 3791 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 3142, giving it the 24th smallest population among Kansas's county. The county has a total area of 914.47 square miles (2368.47 sq km), of which, 909.18 square miles (2354.77 sq km) of it is land and 5.29 square miles (13.7 sq km) of it is water, making it the 21st largest by size in Kansas.
