According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1104 inhabitants. It is the 276th smallest by population in the U.S. state of New York. The census designated place encompasses an area of 1.49 sq mi (3.86 kmē ), of which, 1.47 square miles (3.81 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 650th largest in terms of geographical size.
