Jefferson Davis Parish is a parish located in Louisiana, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of parish in 2000 stood at 31435 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 31263, giving it the 34th largest population among Louisiana's parish. It is spread over 658.58 miē (1705.71 kmē), of which, 652.31 square miles (1689.48 kmē ) of it is land and 6.26 square miles (16.21 kmē) of it is water, it is the 36th largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana.
