Jeanerette City is a city located in the Iberia Parish, Louisiana, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 5997 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 5889, It is the 88th most populous in the U.S. state of Louisiana. The city comprises an area of 2.21 sq mi (5.72 kmē), giving it the 250th largest by total area among Louisiana.
