Jay City is a city in the Delaware County, Oklahoma, United States. It is home to over 2482 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 2994, It is the 127th largest in terms of population. It is spread over 3.23 sq mi (8.37 square kilometre), makes it the 233rd largest by total area in Oklahoma.
