Jasper County is a county located in the United States of Missouri. As of 2000 the population was 104686. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 116813, It is the ninth largest in terms of population. Its area is just over 641.32 sq mi (1661.01 square kilometre), of which, 639.73 square miles (1656.89 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.59 square miles (4.12 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 45th largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.

As of the census of 2000, there were 104686 residents, 41412 households, and 27943 families in the county. The population density was 163.6 people per square mile (63.17/kmē), it is the 12th most densely populated county in the U.S. state of Missouri. There were 45571 housing units at an average density of 71.2 per square mile (27.49/kmē). The average household size was 2.46 people, and the average family size was 2.98 people. In the county the population was spread out, with 25.7% under the age of 18, 11% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 13.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.2 males. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 116813, The racial makeup of the county was 93.71% White, 1.78% Black or African American, 1.33% American Indian, 0.91% Asian, 0.11% Native Hawaiian, and 2.15% from two or more races.
