Jasper County is a United States county located in the United States of Mississippi. In 2000, the population was 18149. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 18253, It is the 54th largest county by population in the U.S. state of Mississippi. The county comprises an area of 677.44 mi˛ (1754.56 sq km), of which, 676 square miles (1750.83 sq km) of it is land and 1.44 square miles (3.73 sq km) of it is water, making it Mississippi's 27th largest county by total area.

For every 100 females there were 91 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.3 males.
