Jasper County is a county in the United States of Iowa. Jasper County had an official population of 37213 in 2000. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 36583, giving it the 18th largest population among Iowa's county. Its area is just over 732.93 square miles (1898.28 square kilometre), of which, 729.99 square miles (1890.67 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.94 square miles (7.61 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the seventh largest by total area in Iowa.

For every 100 females there were 101.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.7 males. In July 2008, its estimated population was 36583, The racial makeup of the county was 97.34% White, 1.06% Black or African American, 0.26% American Indian, 0.61% Asian, 0.07% Native Hawaiian, and 0.66% from two or more races.
