Jasper County, Georgia is a county of the United States of Georgia. As of 2000 the population was 11426. Its population was estimated at 13842 in July 2008, making it Georgia's 52nd smallest county. The county comprises an area of 373.58 square miles (967.57 square kilometre), of which, 370.42 square miles (959.38 square kilometre) of it is land and 3.16 square miles (8.18 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Georgia's 69th largest county by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 11426 people in the county, organized into 4175 households, and 3122 families living in the county. The population density was 30.8 people per square mile (11.89/kmē), it is Georgia's 37th least densely populated county. There were 4806 housing units at an average density of 13 per square mile (5.02/kmē). The average household size was 2.72 persons, and the average family size was 3.14 persons. In the county the population was spread out, with 27.2% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 28.6% from 25 to 44, 24.5% from 45 to 64, and 11.8% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 104 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 107.5 females. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 13842, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 76.59% White, 22.33% Black or African American, 0.2% American Indian, 0.14% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, and 0.73% from two or more races.
