Jasper City is a city in the Hamilton County, Florida, United States. Jasper City had an official population of 1780 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 2044, making it the 243rd least populous in Florida. The city encompasses an area of 1.95 sq mi (5.05 kmē), it is the 285th smallest in terms of geographical size.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1780 people, 742 households, and 488 families living in the city. The population density was 911.2 people per square mile (351.82/kmē), it would be the 278th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Florida. There were 878 housing units at an average density of 450.3 per square mile (173.86/kmē). The average household size was 2.4 and the average family size was 3.01. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 29.3% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 22.5% from 45 to 64, and 16.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 74.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 69.5 males. The median age was 35.4 years, the median age of male residents at 33.3 and the median age of female residents at 37.5. The racial makeup of the city was 930 White, 813 Black or African American, 1 American Indian, 5 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 18 from two or more races and 13 Ohter races.
