Jasper City is a one of the Newton County, Arkansas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. It is home to over 498 people (2000 census). Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 482, giving it the 297th largest population among Arkansas. It is spread over 0.53 square miles (1.37 sq km), it is the 98th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Arkansas.
