Jamestown Town is one of the town of Guilford County, North Carolina, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. Jamestown Town had an official population of 3088 in 2000. Its population was estimated at 3212 in July 2008, It is the 191st most populous in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The town has a total area of 2.66 sq mi (6.89 sq km), it is the 309th largest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 1159 people per square mile (447.49/kmē), making it the 149th most densely populated town in North Carolina. In the town the population was spread out, with 24.4% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 27.8% from 25 to 44, 27.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.1 males. The median age of the town's population was 40.2 years, The median age of males was 39.3 years, for females the median age was 40.8 years. The racial makeup of the town was 2711 White, 246 Black or African American, 6 American Indian, 74 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 28 from two or more races and 23 Ohter races.
