The city encompasses an area of 9.06 mi˛ (23.47 square kilometre ), of which, 8.98 square miles (23.26 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.08 square miles (0.21 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 74th largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.
