Jamestown Borough is a borough in the Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is home to over 636 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 577, It is the 371st smallest by population in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is spread over 0.79 mi˛ (2.05 sq km), of which, 0.78 square miles (2.02 sq km ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 856th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 636 people in the borough, organized into 269 households, and 172 families residing in the borough. The population density was 819.5 people per square mile (316.41/km˛), making its Pennsylvania's 369th least densely populated borough. There were 297 housing units at an average density of 380.8 per square mile (147.03/km˛). The average household size was 2.36 persons, and the average family size was 2.97 persons. The racial makeup of the borough was 633 White, Black or African American, American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian, 3 from two or more races and Ohter races.
