It is the 36th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. Its area is just over 2.61 square miles (6.76 square kilometre), of which, 2.51 square miles (6.5 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 19th smallest by size in New Hampshire.
