It is spread over 21.96 sq mi (56.88 kmē), of which, 7.68 square miles (19.89 kmē ) of it is land and 14.28 square miles (36.99 kmē) of it is water, making it the 76th largest by size in Florida. It is ranks 14 in the size of its inland waterways in Florida.
