Jackson Town is one of the town of Teton County, Wyoming, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 8647 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 9806, It is the 11th largest by population in the U.S. state of Wyoming. It is spread over 2.85 square miles (7.38 square kilometre), it is the 93rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Wyoming.

As of the census of 2000, there were 8647 people, 3631 households, and 1669 families living in the town. The population density was 3037.2 people per square mile (1172.67/kmē), it would be the second most densely populated town in the U.S. state of Wyoming. There were 3861 housing units at an average density of 1354.7 per square mile (523.05/kmē). The average household size was 2.35 people, and the average family size was 2.97 people.
