Jackson County is a county located in Tennessee, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of county in 2000 stood at 10984 as per the Census data. It covers total area of 319.56 sq mi (827.66 square kilometre), of which, 308.88 square miles (800 square kilometre) of it is land and 10.67 square miles (27.64 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 24th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
