Jackson County is a county located in Minnesota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 11268 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 10734, It is the 21st smallest in terms of population. The county comprises an area of 719.46 square miles (1863.39 sq km), of which, 701.69 square miles (1817.37 sq km) of it is land and 17.76 square miles (46 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 43rd largest by total area in Minnesota.
