Jackson City is a city in the Jackson County, Minnesota, United States. The city has a population of 3501 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 3305, making it Minnesota's 165th largest. It is spread over 4.01 square miles (10.39 square kilometre), of which, 3.8 square miles (9.84 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 190th largest by size in Minnesota.
