Jackson City is a city located in the Butts County, Georgia, United States. In 2000, city's population was 3934 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 4496, making it Georgia's 161st largest. The city comprises an area of 4.73 square miles (12.25 sq km), of which, 4.7 square miles (12.17 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 174th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
