Irwindale City is a United States city located in the Los Angeles County, California, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1446 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1439, It is the 225th smallest by population in the U.S. state of California. The city comprises an area of 9.46 sq mi (24.5 sq km), of which, 9.29 square miles (24.06 sq km) of it is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 sq km) of it is water, making it the 345th largest by size in California.
