Irwin Borough is a one of the Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Irwin Borough is home to 4366 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 4050, making it the 328th most populous in Pennsylvania. It has total area of 0.88 sq mi (2.28 sq km), giving it the 801st largest by total area among Pennsylvania.
