Ironton City is a one of the Crow Wing County, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 498. The July 2008 population estimate is 528, It is 487th most populous in Minnesota. Its area is just over 1.97 square miles (5.1 square kilometre), of which, 1.49 square miles (3.86 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.48 square miles (1.24 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 321st largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
