Iron Mountain Lake City is a city located in St. Francois County, Missouri, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 693 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 699, making it Missouri's 425th largest. The city encompasses an area of 2.08 square miles (5.39 square kilometre ), of which, 1.97 square miles (5.1 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 252nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.

The population density was 351.8 people per square mile (135.83/kmē), it is 141st least densely populated city in Missouri.
