Ireton City is a city located in Sioux County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 585 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 584, It is the 434th largest by population in the U.S. state of Iowa. Its area is just over 1.01 sq mi (2.62 kmē), makes it the 372nd largest by total area in Iowa.
