Ionia City is a city located in the Ionia County, Michigan, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 10569 as per the Census data. It covers total area of 5.21 mi˛ (13.49 sq km), of which, 5.04 square miles (13.05 sq km) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 142nd largest by total area among Michigan.
