Ione Town is a one of the Pend Oreille County, Washington, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. The town has a population of 479 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 496, It is the 104th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Washington. It is spread over 0.6 square miles (1.55 square kilometre), of which, 0.54 square miles (1.4 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 64th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Washington.
