Inverness Town is a United States town located in the Sunflower County, Mississippi, United States. In 2000, town's population was 1153 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1001, It is the 166th most populous in the U.S. state of Mississippi. The town extends throughout a territory of 1.44 miē (3.73 kmē ), it is the 213th largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
