Indian Wells City, Riverside County, California is a city located in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3816 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 5177, It is 655th most populous in California. The city spans an area of 13.39 sq mi (34.68 square kilometre), of which, 13.23 square miles (34.27 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 249th largest by area in the U.S. state of California.
